” In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and insight he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.”
Church Family,
Happy New Year! Hopefully this new year can be a chance to renew your relationship with the God who made us and loves us. Here is the covenant prayer, it means a lot to me and I hope you find it meaningful as well.
I am no longer my own, but thine.
Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee,
exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things
to thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.
Our Google Meet will meet tonight at 6:30pm to finish up infancy narratives. In the coming weeks David Walley, our intern, will begin leading this group as I prepare to go on leave.
For the winter, I will still plan to keep the hours Wednesday and Sunday from 1-3pm open, but won’t physically be on the porch in the cold. Feel free to reach out to make an appointment!
Along with prerecorded worship we continue to livestream in-person worship here on facebook
In the bulletin on Sunday I’ve been including resources for a personal devotion and scripture readings throughout the week. After all, our worship continues every day and not just Sundays. I will begin publishing these in our emails as well for folks who miss Sunday. Message us to subscribe to these emails.
Our Google Meet will meet tonight (1/2) at 6:30pm.
