“For there is no distinction, since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”

Church Family,

In the coming weeks I’ll cover some Methodist/Wesleyan topics. These will probably include:
Justification by faith
Repentance
Sanctification
Christian Perfection
Free Will
Conferencing
Scriptural interpretation
Good Works

Our conference is welcoming a new interim Bishop. There will be a live online event this Sunday at 4pm if you’d like to hear from the new bishop. You can find it at www.live.nccumc.org Sunday at 4:00pm. He’ll also be hosting an online gathering with our district laity at 7:00pm next Monday the 20th. You can register at https://mailchi.mp/nccumc/virtual-district-gatherings… for that event.

If there’s anything you’d like me to cover regarding our tradition, or biblical/theological questions you’d like explored I’d be very happy to cover them midweek.

I will be back on the porch Sunday from 1-3pm as well as Wednesdays. I’m going to work hard to keep these hours, and I’d love for you to stop by and chat.

Stone Soup Menus could use some backup drivers, not necessary to make a weekly commitment. Please let me know if you’re interested. If you’d like to get more involved with this miraculous ministry in any way feel free to reach out.

I’m trying to add more detail to our prayer list. If you’d like to add a prayer or some detail to a name or if I’ve forgotten anyone, feel free to email and I will update the list. Those of you worshiping online only can also call me with prayer requests if needed.

Our Google Meet will read Leviticus 1 starting 9/19. This will begin 6 weeks on Leviticus. We hope you’ll join us!
