“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”
Church Family,
Carolyn will be preaching this Sunday morning, so I’m just offering a short devotion and we’ll provide the full worship recording in the coming days.
Gordon will be out of town from August 9-18. I’ll still have my cell phone, but any pastoral emergencies can be offered to Ben Wolf at (252)567-3210. I will not be here for porch hours the 11th, 15th, or 18th. We’ll be blessed to hear a message from Carolyn Allen, our Lay leader on the 15th.
In devotions on Wednesdays I’ll be covering sections in Mark the lectionary skips:
8/18 Mark 9:10-29
8/25 Mark 11:(12-33) 12:13-17
I’ve tried to work on making our prayer list below more detailed. If you’d like to add a prayer or detail to a concern below feel free to call, text, or email at any time.
Our Google Meet will not meet tonight, but will read Genesis 45:1-28 next Sunday at 6:30pm. We hope you’ll join us!

God bless all of you!

Peace,
