“Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Church Family,
As we hear from Jeremy about Jesus stilling the storm, I was reminded of another scripture: Romans 6:5 “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” Just as Christ stilled the storm, he has offered redemption to all of us, and promised restoration and healing to all of creation through his death and resurrection. By celebrating the resurrection day together we witness to God’s power over creation and over our lives.
Our church yard sale will be June 26th, any items donated for the yard sale may be placed in the fellowship hall. If you need access feel free to call Gordon at (608)576-0250.
Following the yard sale we will have Methodist Home for Children Sunday 6/27 and hear from Reggie Helton, a development officer at the Methodist Home. You can find out more info about this important organization at https://www.mhfc.org/ Reggie won’t be able to provide video ahead of time, so I will send out a brief devotion next morning and post the full video at a later time so those of you worshipping online can hear from him.
I will plan to be on the parsonage porch from 1-3pm Wednesdays and Sundays, and am normally always available at other times during the week as well. Feel free to stop and chat.
I’ve tried to work on making our prayer list below more detailed. If you’d like to add a prayer or detail to a concern below feel free to call, text, or email at any time.
Our Google Meet will meet tonight at 6:30 to discuss Genesis 38:1-30. We hope you’ll join us!
