Sorry! Forgot to post the 1/10/21 Sunday Worship! I will include it here as well as the 1/13/21 Devotion.
Church Family,
When Jesus came to Jordan to be baptized by John,
he did not come for pardon but as the sinless one.
He came to share repentance with all who mourn their sins,
to speak the vital sentence with which good news begins.
He came to share temptation, our utmost woe and loss,
for us and our salvation to die upon the cross.
So when the dove descended on him, the Son of Man,
the hidden years had ended, the age of grace began.
Come, Holy Spirit, aid us to keep the vows we make;
this very day invade us and every bondage break.
Come, give our lives direction, the gift we covet most:
to share the resurrection that leads to Pentecost.
Today we commemorate and celebrate the Baptism of the Lord, and especially the way we have been invited into cooperation and love with the Triune God and with our neighbor. Especially at this time in our world, it has never been more important to remember how deeply connected we are to God and to our neighbor. Our lives are a responsibility to ourselves, but also to them and this world.
If you are planning on attending this morning, as a reminder please don’t plan on arriving earlier than 10-15 minutes before 11:00. The doors will not be open.
Our Google Meet will NOT meet tonight, but will begin four weeks studying Ruth next Sunday if you’d like to join in. I’m happy to help anyone get onto the Google Meet.

1/13/21 DEVOTION
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.”
Church Family,
Along with this message, I would invite you to consider your week in light of the question “what am I joining to Body of Christ to? Are there ways we all live that might not serve God’s purposes or work to undermine God’s work of love and justice in the world? What have we united ourselves to?
Our Sunday Google Meet will begin four weeks on the book of Ruth this Sunday (1/17). Please join us!
