Church Family,
Myrrh is mine; its bitter perfume
breathes a life of gathering gloom;
sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
sealed in the stone-cold tomb.
O star of wonder, star of light,
star with royal beauty bright,
westward leading, still proceeding,
guide us to thy perfect light.
Glorious now behold him arise;
King and God and sacrifice:
Alleluia, Alleluia,
sounds through the earth and skies.
Even as in-person worship has been resumed, all of us are joined together in the Spirit, and we commend all of you choosing to worship at home. My hope for all of us is that this season can be a reminder to put our faith in Christ and the teachings of the church, including in the incarnation and resurrection.
If you are planning on attending this morning, as a reminder please don’t plan on arriving earlier than 10-15 minutes before 11:00. The doors will not be open.
Our Google Meet will focus on shared tables and the Lord’s Supper at 6:30pm. I hope you will join us, and I’m happy to help anyone get onto the Google Meet.
