“Come no closer! Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”
Church Family,
What an incredible thing it is to worship God! However you do it today, hopefully you feel the holy presence of the Father, through Christ, in the Spirit. The triune God has called us together today, in person and in spirit, and what a blessing that is.
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation!
Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near,
join me in glad adoration.
Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;
sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining!
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
sent by his gracious ordaining?
Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
if with his love he befriends you.
Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him.
Let the Amen sound from his people again;
gladly forever adore him.
Our Google Meet is skipping tonight, but will continue to meet in the coming weeks.
Our outdoor worship will be weekly for the coming months, but I’ll continue to record for posterity and for those of you who watch online.
God bless all of you!
Feel free to reach out at gchristen@nccumc.org or (608)576-0250 with any questions, concerns, or prayer requests
Peace,
Gordon
Links and Reminders
Outdoor worship, weekly, 10:00am in the parking lot.
No obligation, feel free to continue worship online (video and online meetings will continue) for any reason at all. Please leave parking spaces by the fellowship hall for those with accessible needs. For those who can, consider parking across the street at the parsonage or behind the fellowship hall.
For this event, we will mark out spacing for families and household units and ask that you honor everyone’s space. Masks are preferable. Please dress casually and bring your own lawnchairs and umbrellas (for sun protection, this event will be weather permitting).
Porch hours–opportunity for Holy Communion
As I’ve noted, I’ll be hanging out on the parsonage porch Sundays and Wednesdays 1-3pm. If you are interested, we can share the Lord’s Supper together. However, I ask that you bring your own bread and juice/wine. If that may be difficult we can work together to find a solution.
