“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Church Family,
Here is Martin Luther King Jr.’s sermon “Transformed Nonconformist” on the text I explore above. It’s really an incredible read: https://kinginstitute.stanford.edu/…/transformed-nonconform…
As we (hopefully) work towards a more familiar worship life, we will now worship outdoors every week rather than every other. You are welcomed to continue to worship online if that feels safer to you.
Accordingly, our next outdoor worship service will be this Sunday, September 6th at 10:00am in the parking lot. Please park along the Swepsonville Methodist Road side of the parking lot, across the street at the parsonage, or on the lawn. Please bring your own chair and attend to all masking and distancing recommendations.
We are still collecting school supplies for Alexander Wilson (everything but binder paper and rulers). Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to drop off school supplies.
Our Sunday Google Meet continues to meet in the evening and discuss the Psalms, but will probably be skipping this Sunday for Labor Day. We hope you will join us for this time of study and fellowship in the future.
